As a company founded by a group of ex-Forces individuals, i3Secure is proud to be a Forces-friendly employer that believes in preserving and contributing to the welfare of those who serve, or have served, in the military.

Armed Forces Covenant

i3Secure signed the Armed Forces Covenant in November 2021 committing to fair treatment for those who serve, Veterans, and their families.

The Armed Forces Covenant is a promise to those who serve that we will do all we can to ensure they are treated fairly and are not disadvantaged in their day-to-day lives. This includes offering injured servicemen and women and bereaved families extra support where appropriate.

Defence Employer Recognition Scheme

In 2023, i3Secure was awarded the Employer Recognition Scheme Silver Award as an acknowledgement of their support to the Armed Forces community.

As a Silver Award holder, we have demonstrated our support through a number of commitments, including:

  • Ensuring that Armed Forces personnel or the Armed Forces community are not unfairly disadvantaged as part of our recruiting and selection processes.
  • Actively ensuring that our team are aware of our positive policies towards Defence people issues.
  • Enabling Reservist mobilisations and providing 5 days’ additional unpaid/paid leave to allow them to carry out their responsibilities without being financially disadavantaged.
  • Providing Mentors to service-leavers when they join i3Secure.
  • Offering an extensive training and learning budget to help up-skill those who are entering the industry from the Forces.

Here at i3Secure, over 50% of our employees are ex-Armed Forces, with many of those active members of the Reserves.
