Before I entered cyber security, I served in HM Forces. That experience still shapes everything I do.
In the military, I learned how to lead in uncertainty, how to stay calm under pressure, and how to protect vital assets – often without perfect information, and always with high stakes.
I didn’t realise it at the time, but those lessons were preparing me for this world; a world where businesses are under constant digital fire, and every decision can have a wide-reaching impact.
