i3Secure Welcomes Consultant Steen Stewart

Published on: July 25,2023 Published in: Insights News

We are pleased to introduce i3Secure’s newest addition to the team, Steen Stewart.

Steen, who joins us as a Consultant, is a highly skilled security professional having served for over 25 years in the Royal Air Force (RAF). Throughout his service he has predominantly held security roles, including positions as a Security Consultant with the Joint Force Intelligence Group and Security Consultancy Flight.

The latter granted him significant exposure to the delivery of Security Risk Assurance and the project security requirements for the introduction of new equipment and capabilities in the UK and overseas. Steen notes that one of the many highlights of his career was playing a critical role in the introduction of the F35 Lightning II to the Royal Air Force.

In his spare time, he enjoys getting his hands dirty working on cars or motorcycles. Currently, most of this is dedicated to building 90’s rally car replica!

On joining, Steen said “I was quite apprehensive about leaving the Royal Air Force and the new dynamic of moving from an office-based environment to working from home. However, from the Directors down, the entire team at i3Secure have made the transition from serving in the military to civilian employment easy and genuinely as straightforward as it could be with plenty of support available for service leavers.”
