i3Secure Welcomes Cyber Security Consultant, Benn Grimshaw

Benn joins us as a Consultant following a 14-year career in the Royal Air Force Police.

Benn started his Royal Air Force (RAF) career as a Dog Handler before transitioning into the world of Protective Security. As a security practitioner, Benn completed tours at the UK’s busiest main operating bases, specialising in Information Assurance and Security Risk Management. Benn finished his service career as a Protective Security Instructor, training the RAF’s next generation of security specialists.

Benn regards his career highlights to be the completion of multiple operational tours around the world, along with seeing in the introduction of the UK’s F35 programme, the Lightning fifth-generation combat aircraft. Benn was part of a team to ensure the physical security measures and information assurance practices were in place before its arrival in the UK.

In his spare time, Benn enjoys playing golf, reading, being in the great outdoors and spending time with his family.

On joining he said “I have joined the i3Secure team because of their excellent team ethos and reputation. I am excited to join a company that is passionate about security and one that looks after its team as well as the environment. The team have made the transition from service to civilian life exceptionally pleasant.”
